The Magnaclean Micro is a compact magnetic and dirt filter designed to protect central heating systems by capturing and holding debris such as rust, sludge, and other particulate matter. It helps maintain efficient circulation, protect boiler and pump components, and support longer system life—especially in smaller pipework or restricted installation spaces.
This filter installs inline on the flow or return pipe, typically where 12 mm, 15 mm, or similar small-bore pipework is used. As water circulates through the system, the Magnaclean Micro’s internal magnetic field attracts ferrous particles (rust and metallic debris) while its internal chamber traps other contaminants. By removing these solids from the circulating water, it prevents build-up in boiler heat exchangers, radiators, pumps, and valves, which in turn improves heat transfer, reduces noise, and helps prevent cold spots on radiators.
The Magnaclean Micro is designed for use in smaller pipework systems—often found on radiator tails, bypass circuits, or near boilers with compact connections. It is suitable for domestic central heating installations including combi, system, and conventional boiler systems, especially where space is limited or where a larger filter cannot be fitted.
The Micro filter features a robust, compact housing and a powerful internal magnet for effective particle capture. Its small footprint allows installation in tight spaces such as underfloor heating manifolds, behind boilers, or in boxed-in pipe runs. The unit typically includes a drain or purge connection to allow captured debris to be removed during servicing without removing the filter from the system.
This filter helps protect key components from circulating debris that can cause wear, blockages, or inefficient heat transfer. Cleaner system water supports smoother flow, quieter pump operation, and more even radiator heat distribution. Regular use of the Magnaclean Micro can reduce servicing frequency, help maintain energy efficiency, and extend component life.
The Magnaclean Micro is ideal for smaller domestic heating systems or applications with limited space where standard-sized magnetic filters won’t fit. It’s particularly useful for protecting boiler inlet circuits, radiator tails, bypass loops, or compact central heating installations. When installed as part of a broader system protection strategy, it contributes to reliable, efficient, and long-lasting heating performance.
